Expertise

At Crestpoint, we aim to deliver optimal risk-adjusted returns throughout all phases of the investment cycle by investing in high quality, commercial real estate properties across Canada with strong income-producing characteristics and the potential for long-term growth.

The Crestpoint team brings over 130 years of transaction and asset management experience to the firm solidifying a significant presence within the Canadian commercial real estate community. Collectively, over the span of their careers, members of the team have advised numerous Canadian pension funds, REITs, and various institutional and private investors, participating in over $20 billion of transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and financings.

Crestpoint manages approximately $3.0 billion of commercial real estate investments on behalf of both various institutional clients as well as high net worth clients of the CC&L Financial Group. The Firm offers prospective clients two principal investment products, the “Crestpoint Core Plus Real Estate Strategy” (the “Fund”), an open-ended pooled vehicle with a core plus investment strategy, and (ii) customized segregated account strategies.

The Crestpoint Core Plus Real Estate Strategy is a limited partnership and the Firm’s primary investment vehicle and is available to both non-taxable and taxable institutional clients (pension funds, endowments, etc.) and high net worth investors. It was established on February 28, 2011 and follows a fundamental, core-plus active investment approach, combining “core” and “value-add” properties to create a “core plus” portfolio of high quality, Canadian commercial real estate investments diversified by property type (office, retail and industrial), geography (major Canadian urban markets and select secondary markets), and risk strategy (core and value-add).

The extensive relationships cultivated by the team through our years of experience directly benefit Crestpoint clients through our ability to execute strategy and to source and complete investment and lease transactions through multiple channels.
