Regina Bypass Project

The Regina Bypass Project is a Public-Private-Partnership between the SaskLink Global Transportation Partners consortium and the Government of Saskatchewan (through the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure). The largest transportation infrastructure project in the province’s history, it will include the construction and rehabilitation of approximately 58 km of four-lane highway (including 40 km of new four-lane highway) and associated infrastructure which will serve the Regina region’s growing population and support new economic development initiatives.

The Project was procured under the ‘design, build, finance, operate, maintain and rehabilitate’ model and commenced construction in 2015. It is scheduled for completion in 2019 and will have a 30-year operating contract.

Investment Highlights:

  • High Quality Partners and Counterparties
  • Stable Cash Flow
  • Fixed Price Construction and Operating Contracts
  • Potential Upside Through Rehabilitation Savings
