Sakwi Creek Hydro Project

The Sakwi Creek Hydro Project is a 5.5 megawatt run-of-river hydro-electric project located on Sakwi Creek approximately 15km northwest of Agassiz, BC. The Project achieved commercial operation in 2014, and all power produced by the facility is being sold to British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority under a 40-year Electricity Purchase Agreement.The Project represents the first investment under the partnership between CC&L Infrastructure and WindRiver Power Corporation.
