Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure has partnered with the Rainy River First Nations to provide funding for a portfolio of ground-mounted solar PV facilities located in the Rainy River District in Northwestern Ontario, approximately 65 km west of Fort Frances. The Rainy River Solar Project consists of three facilities with a combined production capacity of 25 megawatts (MW). The Project produces approximately 41,000 MW hours of electricity per year. All power generated by the facility is being purchased by the Independent Electricity System Operator pursuant to a 20-year power purchase agreement at a fixed price.
