Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

As one of Canada’s largest independent asset management firms, Connor Clark & Lunn Financial Group is committed to building strong and vibrant communities by supporting causes that are important to our clients, employees, partners and stakeholders.

Our CSR initiatives focus on three areas: philanthropy, volunteering and socially responsible business practices.

Philanthropy

Through the Connor, Clark & Lunn Foundation (CC&L Foundation), we are proud to support not-for-profit organizations that promote stronger communities, the environment, health, education, humanitarian causes and the arts. Created in 1999, the CC&L Foundation is supported by and represents the interests of all CC&L Financial Group affiliated firms.

Philanthropy at CC&L Financial Group also includes the personal philanthropic gifts of employees.

Volunteering

Many individuals at CC&L Financial Group and its affiliates volunteer with organizations that focus on issues that they feel passionately about. The CC&L Foundation supports these efforts by regularly making financial contributions alongside the volunteering effort. Further, the CC&L Foundation creates volunteer opportunties at organizations where it has strong relationships and with which it partners.

Socially Responsible Business Practices

Our commitment to CSR also includes decisions we make regarding the way that we run our business.
