Portfolio Construction

• Since we invest in stocks that we believe to have a fair value per share that is much larger than their current share price, our stock positions in the portfolio are fairly concentrated. Sector positions are driven by our assessment of value within specific industry groups.

• While we take meaningful stock positions against the S&P/TSX Index, we also follow a formal risk control system to ensure that our strategy remains fully in line with client risk tolerances.
