Mark Beale, Co-Head Equity
Mark joined New Star in 1982 and is the lead portfolio manager for the firm’s international equity product. Mark is a member of the Investment Policy Committee and Currency Group, and is responsible for the firm’s research and stock selection within the US market. He holds a BA in Economic History from the University of Sussex.

Richard Lewis, Co-Head Equity
Richard joined New Star in 1989 from Capel-Cure Myers Capital Management Ltd and has more than 15 years’ investment experience. His responsibilities include European market research and stock selection and he is a member of the Investment Policy Committee and Currency Group. He has a BSc in Economics & Statistics from Bristol.

Tim Bray, Senior Investment Manager
Tim joined New Star in 1985 from Coutts and Company. He took responsibility for UK equities in 1992 after building a successful track record in the resource markets. He visits Canada regularly to service New Star’s Canadian-based clients. Tim has a BSc in Financial Economics from the University of London.
