Matt O’Brien
President, Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure
Matt O'Brien joined Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group in the middle of 2005 to head up its infrastructure and private equity businesses. Prior to joining Connor, Clark & Lunn, Matt was a managing director in the mergers & acquisitions group with RBC Capital Markets. During Matt's time at RBC, he advised on a wide range of both US and Canadian public and private transactions cumulatively valued at over $20 billion, primarily in the energy (E&P, oil services) and energy infrastructure (power generation, electricity transmission, natural gas processing, storage and transmission) industries. Matt received an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a bachelor of arts degree in economics (with Distinction) from McGill University.
Michael Freund
Managing Partner, Connor Clark & Lunn Financial Group
Michael is Co-CEO of Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group. His prior career experience includes the position of President and CEO of Gentra Inc., a publicly traded property investment and real estate merchant banking firm, and Vice President of Trilon Financial Corporation, a financial services firm. Michael qualified as a Chartered Accountant and received his B. Bus Sci. from the University of Cape Town.
Warren Stoddart
Managing Partner, Connor Clark & Lunn Financial Group
Warren is Co-CEO of Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group. His prior career experience includes the position of Vice President Trilon Financial Corporation where he was, among other things, involved in the firm’s merchant banking activities in the power generation sector. Prior to that, Warren worked in fixed income trading and sales at Merrill Lynch Canada. Warren received his B.A. from Trinity College, University of Toronto. |
