Job Description
Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital has a significant opportunity to capture new business and achieve greater share of wallet through increased partnership within the advisor community and further penetration into the direct high net worth market. High level job accountabilities include:
Building and maintaining relationships with a network of financial advisors, lawyers, accountants, and other centres-of-influence who will enable you to build your business. Building your own portfolio of new clients through appropriate business development activities. Maintaining client relationships throughout varying market and performance conditions by providing clients with proactive and exceptional service. Establishing immediate credibility with successful, sophisticated high net worth clients by listening to the client needs, aspirations, concerns, and questions
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a successful mutual fund wholesaler interested in using their existing network to build their own business that combines wholesaling and high net worth business development or an investment advisor. We’re also looking for:
Two to five years of related experience and a proven history of success Industry accreditation An aptitude for business development and an entrepreneurial spirit Success-driven with a strong work ethic Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity Strong relationship management and prospecting skills Great communicator with excellent presentation abilities Undergraduate degree
